Dr. Sewell is a board certified Dermatologist and Pediatric Dermatologist. Born and raised in north Louisiana, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a Doctor of Pharmacy at the University of Louisiana at Monroe. He worked as a pharmacist will attending medical school at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, where he graduated in the top of his medical school class. He then completed a pediatric intern year at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio prior to completing his dermatology residency at Virginia Commonwealth University where he served as Chief Resident during his final year. Dr. Sewell pursued further subspecialty training at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill where he completed a Laser and Pediatric Dermatology Fellowship.

Dr. Sewell lives in The Woodlands with his wife, a radiologist specializing in breast imaging at Houston Methodist, and their three children. During his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, running, and enjoying the local parks.
