Dr. Adelola Ashaye is a board certified Family Medicine Physician with over a decade of experience in different settings. Having lived in and visited multiple continents, Dr. Ashaye has an appreciation of the many cultures found in the Houston area, and also provides care for people visiting from different parts of the world.
After being in a traditional primary care setting for several years, and then in an Urgent Care setting, Dr. Ashaye launched InTouch Primary Care. Her practice in Sugar Land TX is based on the Direct Primary Care (DPC) model which she believes better serves patients. With the DPC model, Dr. Ashaye is able to build long lasting relationships with her patients and give them the attention and personal touch they deserve. She compassionately serves children and adults focusing on wellness and lifestyle changes so that her patients are satisfied and confident about their health. She also cares for people with acute and chronic conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity and common mental health conditions.
Dr. Ashaye attended Alpena High School in Michigan when she moved to the United States from Nigeria as a teenager. She graduated from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor with a degree in Biopsychology and Cognitive Science. She then attended medical school at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, Chicago IL. She completed her family medicine residency at MacNeal Family Medicine Berwyn IL. Following residency, Dr. Ashaye stayed on as a Faculty Member promoting residency education. She also served as Center Director at MacNeal’s Family Medicine Center before moving to the Houston area in 2014 and has since considered it home. She lives with her husband and three children, and serves at her local church.
